This exclusive villa sits in a peaceful location with sweeping views of the Val d’Orcia’s vineyards and rolling hills, and the Chiana valley. This area of Tuscany is world famous for its landscapes, and high quality wines and olive oil.
Villa Icario is nestled in the green countryside, and at the same time close to the center of Montepulciano, one of Tuscany’s most charming medieval and Renaissance towns. Montepulciano is nicknamed the “Pearl of the Renaissance” for its beauty, and you will find traditional restaurants, pizzerias and shops of all kinds along its small old streets.

The villa is located in a renowned 56-hectare farm with vineyards that produce excellent wines, including the most renowned of the area: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
Upon request, you can taste the farm’s products; attentive and knowledgable staff will welcome you in the nearby cellar (located about 500 meters away from Villa Icario).

Villa Icario has recently been renovated, and is made up of a main villa with 2 floors, and two cottages, that are all rented together at the same time to one group of family or friends. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, it can comfortably accommodate up to 10/12 people.
The bright interiors are welcoming, comfortable, and perfect for a lovely vacation in Tuscany.

Outside on the grounds, guests can enjoy the large, well-tended garden, and a private pool with sweeping panoramic views, umbrellas and sun loungers: the perfect place to relax and cool off on sunny summer days with friends and family.
Each unit has an outdoor space with a table and chairs for enjoying meals outside.

Villa Icario’s strategic location is ideal for a relaxing vacation in the countryside, while at the same time within easy reach of central Italy’s historical and artistic gems, such as the Val d’Orcia; the Chianti area; the villages of Cortona, Pienza and Montalcino; the art cities of Arezzo, Siena and Florence; and the thermal spas of Chianciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni and Bagni di San Filippo.
