Smukt privat villa med pool beliggende i bakkerne omkring byen Empoli, kun 30 km fra Firenze i Toscana. Feriehuset er smagfuldt indrettet med inbydende interiør. Udendørsområdet består af en stor have med havemøbler og swimmingpool, en charmerende terrasse og en møbleret loggia. Placeringen er ideel for at udforske de smukke byer i Toscana som Firenze, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano både med bil og med tog (togstationen i Empoli er blot et par km væk). En sekundær vej passerer tæt på villaen.
Afstande: Empoli med de fleste former for butikker og togstation 1,8 km væk, Firenze (Lufthavn) 30 km, San Gimignano 38 km, 70 km Siena, Pisa (Lufthavn) 60 km, Lucca 95 km væk. Kystlinjen område med flotte sandstrande ca. 70 km væk.

Property was amazing. The bedrooms were all very charming and comfortable. The AC worked great in the bedrooms. We didn't even need the AC running in the kitchen. The pool was fantastic. Because of the excessive heat, a bit of algae was growing in the pool, but the pool guy took care of that when he came on Monday.
Our only criticism really is that the drains in all the showers and bathrooms did not work well. The showers and sinks would fill up with water and take a while to drain out. Also, the showers in several bedrooms don't seem to be sealed well and would leak out on the tile floor with each shower.
Also, I would recommend that you provide specific towels for the pool. We had to use our bathroom towels for the pool.
But all in all, this place was amazing. We loved it so much. Would definitely recommend the place to everyone!

This was a wonderful villa! We were 5 adults and 4 children ranging from 6-75 years old. All of the bedrooms (all upstairs) had their own bathroom and there was plenty of space to lounge. Both inside and outside. The pool was wonderful. The children really enjoyed the pool and the grounds. We visited mid-June. The pool water was cool but perfect if it was a hot day. The children were able to run and play and not disturb anyone else. I am a runner and was able to run through two neighboring villages. Traffic on Sundays is light but during the week it is best to run early. The location was great for taking day trips by car or by driving to the Empoli train station. We had a chef come to the villa one night (this was arranged through the property manager), and it was fantastic. Probably my most favorite night of the trip. Speaking of the property manager, she was wonderful. Easy to contact and answered all questions/concerns. We visited a small vineyard next to the villa that the manager recommended. The family was so nice, and the wine tasting was great! We visited all of the local grocery stores and were able to stock the villa with what we needed. There is dish soap provided and some extra trash bags. We had to buy all staples; Salt/Pepper, olive oil, extra trash bags, etc. I would visit this villa again in a heartbeat.
I only have one bad comment. The street that the villa is on is a connector street to a larger road. The exit out of the villa is completely blind to the left and slightly obstructed on the right. Several times we pulled out and someone was coming...and they drive fast! Luckily, we didn't have any accidents, but it made us nervous.

This is quite a large villa, with four bedrooms on the outskirts of Empoli. There are pleasant views from the garden, although the scenery is not as spectacular as further south in the heart of Tuscany. However, the location does mean day trips by train to Florence and Siena are easily done from Empoli station.
Outside, there is a large terrace, with shaded seating area and a shaded exterior kitchen and a swimming pool, which is of a good size for a private villa (but not deep enough for diving). The pool did not appear to have any heating, but fortunately it was very hot whilst we were there. The rest of the garden is a driveway with ample space for parking and some rather scrubby grass with about twenty young olive trees. Some maintenance is needed in the garden; the path to the barbecue was overgrown by adjoining plants.
There is a large and very well-equipped kitchen, with a large dining table. There is no shortage of sharp knives or crockery, as is too often the case. However, although there were enough glasses for the four of us, had I arrived in a larger party, I would have been annoyed by the fact that broken glasses don't get replaced; there are four double bedrooms but not eight wine glasses of the same size. The glassware is the ubiquitous holiday rental cheap IKEA glassware, so not exactly a significant cost.
The bedrooms are quite simple, with very little furniture, but the beds are of good quality. The only storage was a faux rustic wardrobe, with shelves but no hanging space at all. Indeed, there was not a single coat hanger in the property, which is odd. The bathrooms appeared to have been recently renovated. They all have large showers, where the water pressure is OK but these are not power showers, and the bathroom of the best bedroom also has a bath.
The external kitchen includes a large pizza oven built into the wall, but it was full of old ash and there was no wood, so one was not encourage to use it, which was a pity. There is also a barbecue, but the grill was rusty and should have been replaced.

Excelent Villa, We really enjoyed our stay. The Villa was very clean, the sheets and blankets are new, the dishes and glasses in the kitchen are beautiful. It should have in the kitchen, a scissor and a coffee machine, the Italian coffee machine that was there, was broken. Another point is that all bathroon could have towel dryer. It is important to notice that the owner's office is in a part of the house, but it didn't bother us. And that there are some cameras in the garden. The outside is very beautiful, but we couldn't enjoy it, because it was winter time.

We were six adults and three children who stayed in the villa for a week in June/July. Everything lived up to the high expectations we had from the presentation on the web site. We absolutely loved the garden, the swimming pool, and the pool area. There are many outdoor seating options to choose from, whether you want to stay in the sun or in the shade. We particulary liked the stylish lounge area.
The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. (The only thing we missed was a whisk.) We prepared most of our meals "at home", and enjoyed them at the dining table in the outdoor kitchen area. The barbecue also worked well.
The airconditioning in the bedrooms and kitchen had more than the capacity needed to keep up with outdoor temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius. (Just had to remember to switch them off while running the dishwasher or washing machine.) The wardrobes in the bedrooms don't have rails or hangers for dresses or shirts. The bedrooms were cool with comfortable beds, and everything in the stylish bathrooms were functioning well.
The nearby secondary road is narrow with limited space for pedestrians. Luckily, there are quiet minor roads and paths running parallel. We enjoyed walking these to reach a couple of the local wineries for tasting. Also, the dry river bed of the Omre river was excellent for jogging.
The owners were easy to reach, always very friendly and helpful. They quickly responded to every request we made, like finding open restaurants on a Monday, or removing wasp nests under construction.
In the absence of a chef to prepare the in-house dinner we had booked, Nora and her daughter stepped in and served a superb four-course home made dinner that we'll never forget. The fried vegetables for the starter were by far the crispiest and lightest we've ever tasted, and the children absolutely loved it.
We definitely recommend staying at Villa Nora, and we hope to come back another time.

The villa was really spacious. The bathrooms were well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious. It is a pitty that not all bedrooms had curtains. (day light (5.30am) early in the morning when you still want to sleep) The kitchen was cool and rather well equipped. Some more pots to serve dinner to the table could be usefull. The support from Posarelli villas was perfect. They gave us information with regards to restaurants, activities, and helped us out when we needed something in the villa (glasses, bedsheets, ..)

Es war sensationell. Alles war wie beschrieben. Große Anlage, Zimmer sauber und hell, Küche top eingerichtet , Außenbereich sehr groß inkl Aussenküche. Beleuchtung im Außenbereich angenehm. Pool groß und wurde während unseres Aufenthalts gereinigt.
Die Haushälterinnen waren immer erreichbar und sehr bemüht dass alles reibungslos abläuft.
Dieses Anwesen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Villa ben tenuta tutte le stanze da letto hanno a disposizione un bagno privato piscina carina unica grande pecca la presenza di un solo televisore in salotto molto datato sul quale non si vedono pochissimi canali stranieri e nulla di italiano consiglio di mettere delle TV nelle stanze da letto e magari una Smart TV in salone vista la vicinanza alla rete internet un costo irrisorio per un servizio utile e sicuramente gradito dai clienti

Il host è molto gentile e accogliente. Molto disponibile quando abbiamo dei problemi. La villa è molto bella, con una bella piscina.

We enjoyed the stay in this villa. The pool was great as well the kitchen was big and fancy enough.
Some electricity plug in was not working and we had too many mosquitos.
But overall a villa that we can recommend to book for 2 even 3 families.
Our housekeeper was very frendly and supportive, thanks again.

We used this villa as a landing spot for one week in Tuscany for ten adults. It allowed us to comfortably eat and gather together at the beginning and end of each day. The location was perfect to travel both by train and car. The outdoor space was great. The kitchen and accommodations are rustic and charming for a Tuscan villa. The bedroom and bath accommodations are also somewhat rustic but comfortable enough for a busy week of touring Tuscany. The outside space is fantastic and we also enjoyed the pool table for evening games. Our contacts that managed the house were very helpful and attentive to our feedback and the house was very clean when we arrived. Thank you. We had a wonderful week.

We had an unforgettable vacation in Villa Nora. The villa is well equipped and very suitable for large families. The pool area is great (though the pool light is not connected) and the garden is well kept. You might want to know that the outdoor kitchen does not function including the sink, gas stove and pizza oven. We had a small problem with a bad smell seemingly from the drain in one of the bathrooms, but the housekeepers provided quick and qualified service.

Nice pool, AC works propperly, kitchen well equipped, WiFi was good, and lot of space, nice garden, Service and support given by our contact person was great. Electric switches challenged us and some renovation would be needed, thats not up to the standard any more. All in all, a great location, would go there again, specifically in case you like to visit Florence, which is just 30 min away by car, what you need in any case.

The villa was ideal for the family holiday and the housekeeper was a great help. Would have no hesitation in recommending for a family holiday in a location that is convenient for Pisa, Florence, Siena and many of the Tuscan towns.

Excellent location from which to explore the most famous towns in Tuscany. An hour from Siena and Volterra, less than an hour to Pisa, Lucca, and San Gimignano. Kids were huge fans of the fabulous pool. Great wine tasting within walking distance!

Mycket rymlig, trevlig och välutrustad villa. Vi var 10 vuxna + 2 barn och det fungerade fint. Liknande dubbelrum för 10 med bra sängar + ett med våningssäng, perfekt för barn. Badrum i varje sovrum. Stora sällskapsytor inne och ute samt fint poolområde. Kunde funnits lite mer flyttbara utemöbler.
Husansvariga på platsen var fantastiskt trevliga och hjälpsamma.

We had a great weeek at Villa Nora. Most things workt out fine and with a large group as we had it was wonderful to have so many bedrooms and bathrooms. The kids used the pool a lot even though it was very cold during our stay. We had some small issues, but all in all this was the best accomodation we had ever.

Absolutely gorgeous villa. Had everything we could ask for. Furniture was very comfortable, yard was gorgeous. Local property managers were gracious, reachable and always available. We didn't have a chance to take advantage of the pool (mostly due to our schedules and weather) but the housekeeper keep it clean and treated throughout our two weeks.

Every tour we booked while staying at Villa Nova in Empoli was fantastic! We all fell in love with our guide, Luca! He was very informative and fortunately had grown up in Tuscany so was therefore the perfect guide to the many places we visited. Luca always considered our desires and comfort when we were traveling from place to place. I would highly recommend Valentina and her colleagues to assist you in your touring needs, drivers, chefs and the like while staying at any of the Posarelli villas. We had a wonderful week and would not hesitate returning to this exact villa!

Weihnachten in der Toskana war wunderbar. Wir haben den Billardtisch und den Kamin sehr genutzt und konnten auch die schönen Landschaft zum Spazierengehen ausnutzen. Die Villa Ist gut ausgestattet, man kann sehr gut für viele Personen kochen, es fehlt an nichts.

A wonderful home base for interesting day trips to those nearby famous Tuscan cities--Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Florence, to name a few. We were 2 families (4 teenagers) so the pool and pool table were wonderful additions to the already comfortable roomy spaces. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen (and outdoor kitchen!) are great. We were very pleased with the surroundings--even road biking was heavenly in the region. We squeezed a lot into our week's stay.
